My name is Matthew McBurney. I am the Pastor of the Alpine Region Uniting Church.
I have lived in the area since I was called here in 2004. I completed my Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Family Therapy in 2008, and am a member of the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia (CCAA)and of PACFA.
I have over twenty years of experience in Counselling through my community work in Neighbourhood Centres and Local Churches.
I am also a qualified practioner with Prepare/Enrich Australia and offer full marriage preparation and Marriage enrichment work with couples.
I am a Chaplain to the NSW Ski Industry and a qualified Sport Chaplain accredited with Sport Chaplaincy Australia.
My areas of interest are Family Therapy, Marriages, Children and Youth, Crisis, Grief and Loss, General Counselling, Health and Wellbeing, Prayer and Meditation, Stress Management and Relaxation.
